Class Description
In the Integrating Ortho-Bionomy with Massage Class, you will combine the soothing deep relaxation and unique qualities of the different therapeutic massage/bodywork techniques you already know with the powerful pain releasing and expansive world of Ortho-Bionomy.
Learn to:
~ Use Ortho-Bionomy before, during, and after massage/bodywork during a session.
~ Be able to use and interweave Ortho-Bionomy with the different techniques you have studied.
~ Take better care of your own body while doing massage/bodywork.
~ Integrate the different aspects of Ortho-Bionomy into your massage/bodywork.
~ Have more tools and techniques to offer to your clients.
Jim Berns originated and developed this fascinating class which looks at the individual components of massage techniques and finds creative ways to blend and weave them together with Ortho-Bionomy.
Please bring to class: massage oil/cream, 2 sheets, 2 hand towels, a pillow and pillowcase, face cradle cover, and a blanket if you tend to get cold.
Pre-requisite: One 16 hour hands-on Ortho-Bionomy Class and massage/bodywork training.
This class is NCBTMB approved.
This class can fulfill an elective requirement for the Society of Ortho-Bionomy International’s Associate, Practitioner, and Advanced Practitioner training programs.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space in the class. At the instructor's discretion, this deposit may be applied to a future class if you cannot attend.

In-Person Safety Practices:
Due to the instructors' health histories, we strongly request (but don't require) that everyone in class wear N95 masks or equivalent. Masks can be provided. If you have any health symptoms on the day of class, please contact us immediately. You may be eligible for a full refund or credit for a future class if you need to stay home due to illness.

Jim Berns
Jim Berns has taught internationally for over forty years. He is co-author of Ortho-Bionomy: A Practical Manual. Jim was trained by Arthur Lincoln Pauls, D.O., the founder of Ortho-Bionomy. A certified massage therapist since 1979, he was named 2013 Educator of the Year by the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA.) Jim brings to his teaching detailed information, a compassionate heart, and a unique sense of humor.
